THE ALBUM
- 'Quem Diria?' |
 The
album 'Quem Diria?' which means 'Who'd have said?'
was recorded over a 6 week period in Trapiá, Rio grande
Do Norte in 2007.
The album contains 13 songs, 9 of which I recorded
and produced. The musicians were all local people and some people
had very limited abilities and so my skills as an audio editor
and engineer were tested to the limits! I recorded a man over
70 years old in his 'house' wearing his work boots!
For those of you that are technically minded,
my portable studio set up consists of:
- Dell Inspiron Laptop
- 1.73 Ghz, 2GB, 80GB 7,200 RPM Internal drive.
- WIN XP, SP2
- External 2.5' Firewire 7200 RPM drive
- Pro Tools 7.3 LE, Digidesign Mbox 2
- AKG C1000 Mics
